ICGS FRC-B Parent Craft Integrated Product Team Opportunities
Integrated Coast Guard Systems (ICGS) is seeking interest to file a proposal for Contract Design of a United States Coast Guard (USCG) Fast Response Cutter B-Class (FRC-B) based on a service-proven Parent Craft design that has been built in the United States (US) or can be built in the US. The USCG FRC-B acquisition addresses the need for patrol boat capability with minimal developmental and programmatic risk. The definition of the Contract Design is to demonstrate that the proposed design is technically and functionally feasible and capable of meeting performance requirements and specifications with minimal risk and can be constructed in a US shipyard. The key attribute is to preserve the as-built design to the maximum extent practicable by minimizing the modifications necessary to meet performance objectives, within schedule constraints.
This intent to bid is for the hull only. Please register under the Deepwater service or category of FRC-B Parent Craft only.

ICGS Satellite Connectivity Integrated Product Team Opportunities
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Deepwater program is seeking information from industry to develop a Global Maritime Communication solution (GMARICOM). The current Inmarsat solution using Inmarsat-B terminals are capable of supporting 128 kbps sustained data rates using lease or ISDN options. The USCG is looking to phase out its current Inmarsat-B satellite technology with a faster and more cost efficient technology and service. The Coast Guard is seeking new technology capable of supporting data rates greater than 256 kbps and offer future growth capacity to upwards of 1 Mbps within the next 5 years. The new service(s) would need to provide a reasonable coverage of the earth’s surface with global and or spot beam coverage primarily focused on the Pacific and Atlantic oceans regions and Alaska.
Please register as a potential supplier if your company has a key discriminator in this area.
